SWIMMING POOL EXCAVATION
Digging a hole for the installation of a swimming pool is not always as simple as it first appears. There are many factors to take into consideration, and a professional assessment is always recommended when it comes to completing a safe and cost-effective pool excavation.
Our Process
Proper swimming pool excavation sets the stage for the successful completion of the rest of the project. A careful and well-planned excavation establishes the foundation for the pool company to complete the project on time and on budget. Our process involves the following steps:
- Proposed Site Assessment
- Project Quote
- Pre-Planning & Site Preparation
- Excavation of Swimming Pool Site
- Hauling Away & Disposal of Excavated Material
Pre-Excavation Safety Assessment
The following must be assessed, and a safety plan put in place to avoid damaging any of the following:
- Buildings, Eaves & Overhangs
- Gas Lines & Gas Meters
- Oil Tanks
- Power Lines (Overhead & Underground)
- Air Conditioning Units
- Trees & Landscape Features
- Retaining Walls
Excavation Site Considerations
The size, slope, and access to your yard will impact the turning radius of the excavator. Not all yards can accommodate a full-sized excavator and truck, in which case we can dispatch a mini excavator to get the job done.
A typical backyard pool requires the removal of over 100 tons of dirt or more than ten truckloads. We can haul away what we excavate safely and efficiently and ensure that excavated material is disposed of according to municipal regulations.
A variety of equipment types may be used to dig and haul away excavated dirt. The pricing and time required to complete your swimming pool excavation project are unique to each pool and excavation site.
